Fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol is a metered-dose inhaler. Its operation process is to use the sharp atomization of liquefied gas during sudden decompression to cut the drug into particles and disperse them in the air, and then inhale the drug into the respiratory tract and in the lungs. Medication requires coordinated inhalation and spraying movements, so it is not suitable for children under 7 years old. Young children should also be used with the auxiliary use of aerosol storage tanks: first spray the drug into the inhaler chamber spacer, and then inhale the drug into the lungs through repeated inhalations by the patient.

The buffering effect of the inhaler spacer can prevent the mist from being lost, and at the same time improve the inhaled dose, therapeutic effect and medication safety.

Open a new aerosol (or one that has not been used for more than 1 week), take off the outer cover of the nozzle, shake the medicine well and spray it into the air twice until aerosol sprays out before starting to use it;

Please note that before each use, you need to remove the outer cover and shake the aerosol vigorously before use;

Insert the aerosol nozzle into the side that is connected to the aerosol storage tank (note: the direction of the upper part of the mask that covers the nose should be consistent with the direction of the bottom of the aerosol bottle before inserting);

Encourage the child to inhale and exhale slowly. If the treatment requires one more dose, there should be an interval of at least 1 minute before repeating steps 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6;

After use, remove the aerosol and aerosol storage tank, and cover the aerosol nozzle outer cover;

Fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol is a glucocorticoid inhalation agent. In order to prevent hoarseness, you must immediately rinse your mouth and pharynx with water after use, and then spit out the mouthwash, repeating 2-3 times. Do not interrupt treatment with Faxilone inhalation aerosol suddenly.

In addition, when using the inhaler spacer, you must also pay attention to the following aspects:

1. The aerosol inhaler chamber must be replaced every six months;

2. Replace the valve of the inhaler spacer regularly (replace every 3 months). When replacing, the scored side of the valve faces the spacer’s body and the smooth side faces the mask;

3. Clean the mist storage tank regularly every week, rinse with clean water and air-dry. Do not use detergent or brushes, towels, hands, dry paper towels, etc. to wipe the inner surface of the mist storage tank.
